UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar

Another amazing Rio card
This card was subject to many changes due to injuries to the fighters on the card and fighters taken off the card and put on other cards. Given the talent the UFC was left with they did a great job finalizing the card at the last minute.

Damien Maia vs Rick Story

This was Damien Maia's second fight at welterweight, and what a fight it was. He took it strait to Rick Story in the opening seconds, after multiple attempts to take down Story and get his back he was successful. He started off with a rear naked choke but it just wasn't doing the job, so Maia turned it into a neck crank which forced Story to tap.

Phil Davis vs Wagner Prado

All of the fights were lopsided. They're boring to watch
All of the fights were one-sided because one fighter was always much superior than the other. The other guy could never pose a threat. The same thing happened to the main event, Silva vs Bonnar. Consequently, they're boring to watch.

GREAT EVENT
UFC 153

This was an event that was held in Rio de Janeiro Brazil by the UFC that had all kinds of problems before hand. Like Brazil's own Vitor Belfort who pulled out of his fight with Alan Belcher to go on to fight Jon Jones. Also Rampage was at one point before an injury going to face Glover Teixeira at this event, which would happen later. Also along with Gonzaga's fight being pulled the original main event was cancelled after Jose Aldo pulled out with an injury. So another Brazilian would step in to save the event, Anderson Silva. In the other corner the always tough and never been finished Stephen Bonnar

DISC 1

1.DEMIAN MAIA VS RICK STORY-this fight ended quick and in the first round. Maia wanted to make a statement at Welterweight and he did indeed. He gets the takedown and takes Story's back. From there he goes palm to palm and cranks his opponent's neck so bad blood shoots out. Maia gets the submission victory...
