Needed some tweaks but an OK story.
This was a nice storyline. Unfortunately it takes more than a good plot to make an endearing movie. With a few improvements, this could have been a decent flick. There is a rule that a story should also show not tell. This movie did both in a two scene sequence. We saw the scene then listened to the hero relate the story of what happened in that scene to another character. Not good for a type A personality like me. Then there was a song played and shots of the characters - shots from earlier in the movie. I don't understand why they'd need to repeat images. If a film is going to take a break to play a relevant song with lyrics that speak to the situation, I would like to see scenes that show new things happening - small things that don't need dialogue but allow me insight into what is going on to get characters from point A to point B.
