The seahunt series
My husband and I bought seasons 2 thru 4 at Amazon; we had found season 1 elsewhere. We had been wanting this series for quite some time...to relive our childhood love of the ocean. (My husband went on to become a diver...largely due to "Mike Nelson" :). We had seen some sets selling for hundreds of dollars...a bit to much for some light entertainment. The price of these sets are great. For about $50.00 you get the whole series! Even though the series is over 50 years old, it still entertains! It's well worth the price for some wholesome escapism!
The Best Season

The Season Four episodes are overall the best. The writing is the most sophisticated. Many of them were filmed at photogenic locations (both above and below water) in the Bahamas. Mike also gets more female action than in the previous seasons combined.
Season Four has one of the best Sea Hunt episodes--the second-to-last episode--"Crime at Sea," which is sort of a combination of Sea Hunt and Perry Mason. (There's a show idea for you: a scuba-diving, crime-solving defense attorney.) Unfortunately, it also has one of the worst episodes--the last episode--"Round Up," a "find-the-bomb" story cobbled together out of previous "find-the-bomb" episodes. Perhaps the producers knew that Sea Hunt was being cancelled. What a sad way to end the series. Only the presence of Jack Nicholson makes this episode noteworthy.

At last a Pro release
At last we a have a professional remastered release of one of the best TV shows of all time. After years of bad bootlegs its so great to see. Great picture quality & sound. Fantastic job done by MGM & 20th Century Fox. All seasons come in very nice hard box packaging. For all of you out there hoping and wishing for a PRO release this is it. And very low priced too! GREAT SHOW and now able to be viewed in GREAT QUALITY!
